Erica Ritter

Erica Ritter has worked at the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (O.M.S.I.) since 1999. Erica has coordinated exhibit design, overnight science camp-ins at the museum, and now teaches as a science educator.
In her demonstrations and classes,Erica developed many new science activities, including creating “fake” volcanoes, discovering the physical make-up of slime, and designing a mock roller-coaster to teach kids about physics. She has also created two new hands-on chemistry programs called the “Chemistry of Food” and “Chemistry of Art.”
Erica has a B.A. from Hampshire College, where she studied engineering, cosmology, and architecture.
